Loan Programs

Mortgage options for the plan you’re making

A home purchase, refinance, construction project, and investment-property transaction each start with different questions. Use these pages to learn what to consider, then speak with AMC about the programs currently available for your property and market.

You don’t need to know a program name before you begin. Start with what you are trying to do.

Already own a property and want to use its equity instead? See Equity Loans (Florida and Texas only).

Choose your starting point

Financing a rental property or real-estate investment can involve different property and income considerations than financing a primary residence. See the Investors page for a separate starting point.

What affects the options available?

Mortgage programs have different rules. Availability can depend on the borrower’s financial profile, the property, occupancy, loan purpose, location, and the lender or investor requirements for that product. Program names alone do not determine eligibility. Ask for details about the option being considered and compare the written loan terms and costs.

Not sure which page applies?

Tell AMC what you are planning—buying, refinancing, building, improving a property, or financing an investment. A first conversation can help you understand which questions to ask next. It is not a final approval or a commitment to lend.
